| The Canadian Painter, VIKTOR ROZENBLAT, was born in 1944 in the city
of Saratov on the Volga River.
His artistic education he received the Republic of Belo-Russia, where
he attended the School of Fine Art in Minsk and the Institute at Vitebsk.
During this time he had the benefit of being taught by prominent professors,
like Malishevsy, Schemelev and Stolijarev, who themselves had been
pupils of Marc Chagall at the beginning of the 1920's. Upon graduation
Viktor Rozenblat bacome a teacher of art for gifted children, never neglecting,
however, his own interest in painting which led to numerous works
of landscape paintings and still lives. He participated in various exhibitions
as well as national completitions in Russia. Since emirating from Russia
to Italy, and then to Canada he has been able to devote more of his lfe
to serious work in art.
The drastic change of moving from the frustrating and constrating art
world o Russia to the freedom of Canda he has a profound effect upon this
artist. His new world has given him the inspiration to paint with the knoledge
of his old world and flovour of the new realism. His painting have a definitive
stile which is reflective of his education and the influence of the European
Expressionists.
In tis natural to foresee Viktor Rozenblat, in his new life, adding
a supporting role to the Canadian art scence. His works are a good investment
to be enjoyed. The paintings of Viktor Rozenblat are represented in many
private colections in Russia, Israel, Italy, and now in Canada.
